I'm 50/50 on getting the flu shot, last time I did (2018) I got the flu like 2 months later. I've asked several nurses/GP's on the subject and they all verified that basically there's no flu shot that covers all variations, the one they give you is the one they predict will be the biggest threat to your region. So it's good at preventing the strain of the flu they predict will hit your region, but not all strains of the flu.
