Giving a 1st down, on a 4th down, on a really shitty call is the definition of changing the game to me.

Coaching is as abysmal as the refs. EB can go with the rest of them.

Onto next week, with another game we should have won.

The refs booting Forbes from the game had a huge impact. BSJ was exposed due to Forbes abscense.

Re: Can we get some D - Seahawks post game thread

The cold hard reality is there is a talent deficit at every single position group on this roster with the exception of QB and DT (and K and P). And the DTs were here before Ron showed up, too.

Our WRs aren't getting separation and all of them ave dropped more balls than they should this season. Our OL can't hold blocks long enough to let routes develop and they're not good at run blocking, either. We don't have any great TEs to feature in the Bieniemy offense and our RBs are masterful at running up the gut and getting 0-2 yards.

The DEs are inconsistent in getting pressure. JSW and Toohill are more disciplined than Chase and Sweat were but they don't generate the same pressure. None of them consistently got/get sacks. The LBs are stuck in concrete aside from Jamin who can move fast but can't cover. The corners get beat routinely.

St. Juste interferes on 90% of plays and rolls the dice on how often he gets called for it. Curl is good not great and just one guy.

We traded up to draft a LS who can't snap the ball. Tress is Tress - thank god for him. Slye is good despite missing the PAT today.

Howell is a top-10 guy but he's young and going to make rookie mistakes.

Not every position group needs to be great to have a great team, but we just don't have the horses to be a contending team. Rivera and co. have had some awful drafts and FA misses.

Yeah the coaching staff needs to go yesterday.

I'd like to go after one of the hotshot GM candidates like Ian Cunningham or Andy Weidl - both AGMs who came up under Ozzie in Baltimore and spent several seasons in Philadelphia including their SB victory.

Let the GM pick the HC, but ideally someone like Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik who got his NFL coaching start in Washington.

Rivera and JDR are horrendous. Not impressed with Bieniemy, either.

EB can go too. I just feel there have GOT TO BE..... better options out there who could and will do more with the talent on this team (OL aside). I don't believe in EB and I absolutely would not mind if he were shown the.door with the rest of the circus.

I would like to see Kyle Smith hired as our GM, he should have been except Ron got rid of him and Kevin O’Connell as his OC. What a moron.

Kyle's on my interview list, too. The interesting thing about him is he'd already be familiar with several people in the personnel department. Not sure how I feel about bringing back a mainstay from the Snyder Days but open to it.

Obviously Snyder let him walk, so I don’t hold it against him. Can You imagine if dumb Snyder would have hired O’Connell as HC with Smith as GM? That’s what I wanted, we would be at least be in the playoffs.

We would still be playing with a handicap bc of Snyder's wretchedness. In retrospect I'm thankful for every negative contributor to bottoming out and getting Dan to sell. That we lucked into a franchise QB just before he could convince Snyder to hold onto the team is downright miraculous. If we started Howell last season and he balled out, Snyder probably wouldn't have sold.

Raiders are proving that a big change in season can be very beneficial

I thought the St Juste call was bad, what’s worse was the Refs judgement. You swallow the whistle because the ball wasn’t catchable and St Juste didn’t interfere at the point of the ball.

Still not as bad as the ejection. That was a penalty but to eject was the just ridiculous.

They've also benefitted from playing one of the two worst teams in the league (Giants) and one of the worst offenses and quarterbacks in the league (Jets). They'll probably get brought back down to earth next week versus the Dolphins.

If we had just an average defense (not the 2nd to last D in the league), we'd probably be 7-3 right now.

Imagine if the offense wasn't getting it done - and the defense was on the field more. Thank goodness Howell is at least making these losses look respectable...
