Re: Haskins released

I was gonna take this opportunity to shit on Haskins one more time, but I try not to be one for overkill.

Hope his renaissance act works out, because he won't get another opportunity if his next one doesn't work.

If RR had any interest in Newton he'd have had him here instead of Allen. He played on a small contract in NE, and would have done so here. And having seen him this year, I'd be even more surprised if RR showed any interest now.

I'd consider Fitz if a) AS retires and b) we go with a development (Cousins like) prospect in the lower rounds. If Dallas really let Prescott walk, I'd see what he can do (no guarantee he can play 100% after that ankle injury), and if that happened he'd love to stick it to the Cowboys.

Newton would be a waste of money, he’s a washed up diva.

Can you give me one example of Newton's diva-like behavior from this season?

Other than that I agree, he is washed up.

Re: Haskins released

I like Sheehan’s take that Haskins identities with a Disney character....he’s a child. He probably doesn’t have a clue.

Read up a lil today on his family...quite a Father. A man of faith...eyes rolling in back of my head. I did come away a lil more sympathetic for Haskins.

Can you imagine if they had traded up to get this clown.

Daddy right behind him wearing one of his stupid ass shirts...fuckin clown. Best thing for Haskins to do is to get far away from his family and figure it out.

Same folks that charged $40 a head for that draft party. Trying to steal a dollar from any and every one.

The league done messed up.

Forget who said it earlier but those words will live in infamy forever. Or at least until we actually find a franchise qb. I totally agree, the one saving grace is that we didn't trade up and hurt ourselves worse in the process.

Let's visit Mark Bullock's fantastic All-22 breakdowns to see what led to this decision:

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...98644386639872
2nd throw of the game, to Logan Thomas on 3rd and 8.

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...99551123857410
2nd and 7, overthrow to Foster

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...02686689062912
1st interception

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...03237879341063
Poor mechanics on hot throw to Gibby

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...06981564100608
4 verts checkdown

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/s...08642038714369
2nd int

Just trash. No progress shown, can't read defenses, poor mechanics. It was time.

Let us find the man who wouldn't take Dak or Stafford over our current qb's and beat him to death with Dwayne Haskins' stack of singles.

It's a small consolation when he knows he's probably losing his job in a week as well.
