As someone who lives in Arizona I agree. Kliff had it going here and it slowly fell apart. Murray was a big part of the problem

Re: Kliff Kingsbury Thread

I have to say, from what I’ve been reading about the hiring process, I’m impressed - they wanted to be thorough and methodical even if it meant that candidates they liked dropped out of the process because of offers from other teams. Such a refreshing departure from the rash decision-making that plagued this franchise for 24 years.

And that Quinn really tried to understand the good and bad from his previous HC stint is also encouraging. At a minimum, he will bring more energy than the statue we’ve had on the sidelines in recent years.

Both coaches wil being great energy something this team hasn't had in a long ass time. Even on the offensive side

I am in AZ (Gilbert) as well and have had a front row seat for the KK and Murray debacle!

Kliff is an OC but hes also a Great QB coach... Something this franchise needs. This hire was a HR IMO, It made perfect sense

We need to find an adequate QB coach or assistant OC to work along with Kliff because Kliff will leave for another HC opportunity if he does good job with our new QB.

Like DQ, Kingsbury is going to need a couple of good seasons to get another HC opportunity.

First hire of the KK offensive staff:

@JFowlerESPN
The #Commanders are expected to hire former Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson to a prominent offensive staff role, per source.

Johnson, who guided Philly’s offense last year, interviewed for several head coaching jobs this cycle.

Nice!

His name was mentioned a lot around the league this hiring cycle, like the hire

With this hire, I'm pretty damn confident they will go all in for CW
