@RapSheet Washington QB Dwayne Haskins was fined $40K by the team for COVID-19 violations after he attended a strip club without a mask, source said. A significant amount. This is the largest known fine for a player for a COVID violation – more than half of Haskins’ weekly paycheck. @RapSheet From NFL Now: Washington QB Dwayne Haskins lost his captainship and was fined $40K by the team. But it's up in the air whether he starts this week. |

I'm late to the party here but IMO the team is at a critical point in their development of the young players, particularly on defense, for us to bench this turd and start a practice squad QB if Smith can’t go.
The D is ahead of schedule and this situation is such a great learning experience as far as learning to win the games you have to win with the pressure on no matter how weak the competition in the division is. Regardless if they make the playoffs at 8- 8 or 7- 9 and get bounced in the first round it’ll be a teaching moment to build on for the future. |

It's popular in college this year all of a sudden. Every team has a #0 now. Never saw it before this year, they must have opened it up with a new rule. Some teams even use it was a weekly award, but in Dwayne's case, it's the only number he should be allowed to wear.

They should write language into the contracts that allows them to waive their contract in the case of bringing the team/league into disrepute. I'd argue ignoring Covid regulations is equivalent to giving the team and league the finger! |
