Just saw a video of a WR catching the ball behind his back and tapping his toes to stay in bound. Amazing!

Not hyperbole “RT @BTN_Nebraska: Sorry folks, polls are closed. @Huskers WR Westerkamp has your Catch of the Year. SnappyTV - Featured Big Ten highlights

I have to agree. Catch of the year and it's just the first game.

Good news is that somebody else is taking the heat off of us about the name change.

VT looked WAYYYYY better than I thought they would. If it wasn't for some super unlucky turnovers and maybe 2-3 big plays, that could have been 50+ to zero. Offense is actually shocking how much better they are when they don't make Logan Thomas 90% of the offense. If they can sneak one of OSU (and I think they can with Foster confusing a new QB) they could go on a huge roll.

Yeah didn't see it, just looked at the box score. It's a must to get our run game going, this shai kid from Pennsylvania could be special. I expect Brewster to be the best passing qb we had in 5 years, which doesn't take a lot giving recent history

Re: College football 2014

Amen. Brewster was putting it ON people, making good decisions and was surprisingly fast. If they can get some young QB play, I can see them back into big bowl games real soon.

Re: College football 2014

LT Andrus Peat from Stanford is a monster. Never should a man that large be able to use that combination of quickness and power.

NFL scouts eye Leonard Williams vs. Andrus Peat - ESPN
Quote:
What Williams represents as an NFL prospect on the defensive line, Peat does on the offensive line. At 6-foot-7 and 316 pounds, the junior is a prototypical NFL left tackle and also a potential top-10 pick in the 2015 draft.

“He’s a fantastic player and prospect,” USC coach Steve Sarkisian said. “Knew about him coming out of high school. Went to Stanford and they have just continued to develop him like they’ve done with the linemen in the past. I think he’s obviously become, if not the leader, then one of the leaders of that offensive unit and it shows in his play, but it also shows in his demeanor and body language.”
Right now Stanford should be up 23-7. Two missed red zone field goals and a turnover inside the 5 yard line.

Update: Can't believe Stanford lost. They've been my bandwagon college team for a while now.

Still the way they lost was just outright painful

If Michigan State has a great season Connor Cook (QB MSU) could easily end up as an early first round pick.

Also its kind of funny, I have an HDTV antenna that I've used more in the past week than the entire football off-season. Sad thing is the picture quality I get from this thing ($40) is better than my HD cable box which I barely use these days, save for NFL and NHL network, as it seems I use my PC (hooked up to the same TV) to stream ESPN games with ESPN online.
