Trade LT?
I made LT my obvious first choice, and 5 weeks in, he has 3 TD's total. Is it time to trade him?

Re: Trade LT?
For the right price I think you have to seriously consider it.

You have to look at it this way. Denver "supposedly" has a good defense, and LT still had 140 total yards of offense. There are PLENTY of people out there that think he's only one game away from his old self, and seeing the Chargers score 41 off a good team means there are plenty that would want him now. I would trade him, but trade him with the intent that he's a #1 RB and nothing else will satisfy. If you act like he's worth nothing, then you'll get nothing.

Re: Trade LT?
To get any kind of decent price for him you would have to find someone in your league who thinks Norv Turner can turn that team back around. You are looking to trade with someone with absolutely no ability to recognize patterns. That team is scoring an average of about 10 less points and more than 50 less yards rushing than last year. Truthfully they are lucky to have 3 wins.

Re: Trade LT?
Depends on what you can get for him...which at this point is probably very little...so probably not.

Re: Trade LT?
Yeah, exactly what do you expect to get? You'd be selling low. I'm not a big fan of doing that.

Re: Trade LT?
Depends on who you are trading for. Come back when you have someone who is willing or someone you have your eye on.

Re: Trade LT?
I took LT first overall also, and I'm staying the course. Things started pretty shitty for them, but they'll straighten it out and come around. Plus, you probably won't get much for him right now, so I'm gonna keep hoping.....

Re: Trade LT?
Don't expect too much improvement. If you can try to get someone better, but if you can't then I guess just stay the course.

Re: Trade LT?
You don't win fantasy championships in October. All you're trying to do is limp into the playoffs, and then it's a 3-week shell game to victory. I can't tell you how many times I've built the league's most complete team through crazy trades and acquisitions, only to be punished by some douchebag who scored a one-week wonder with some defensive player or backup QB (i.e. The Billy Volek Effect).
Also, there's pretty solid statistical evidence backing up the notion that RB's who were ridden WAY too hard last year were going to take a hit on the order of ~20% of their fantasy totals from last year, and that group includes LT, LJ, SJax, Alexander. Not surprised in the least to see it coming true so far. All that said, LT is a player who will be winning fantasy championships for guys come December. If anything, the early hole San Diego put themselves in will all but assure that LT is running like mad by the end of the fantasy season. PS, if you're in a league where someone's panicking and trying to dump LT cheap, do yourself a favor and do whatever it takes to make the deal.

Re: Trade LT?
Forget the Trade get these star RBs a decent line and they will be ok.You can put Jim Brown behind a crappy line and he wouldnt produce either-Give us LT and bet ya he would change things around real quick,Get the Main guy you pay Millions of dollars to every year some help.

Re: Trade LT?
NEW TRADE QUESTION:
I need a stud starting RB and want to trade Terrell Owens and Deshuan Foster to get one. Should I trade them for LT? Is that a good deal or should I target someone else? if so...who?

Re: Trade LT?
I would keep TO, because right now LT isn't living up to stud expectations.

Re: Trade LT?
if someone gives you LT for those two, take that deal. I still hold LT in untradeable status though. He will straighten it out.
