The "What are you watching right now" Thread
There's only one rule, you gotta have a link to watch it in here.
I came across this today, never seen this old Mad TV sketch before: |

^ha...don’t know why, but I thought that was hilarious.
So I’m a huge Norm Macdonald fan, so at work I’ll roll through clips: Norms clips on Conan and Howard stern are legendary, here’s a taste I’m a fan of insult comics, Jeff Ross is boss:

I've seen that Jeff Ross video, for a one-talent guy he does that one talent really well.
My all-time favorite comic here and one of the best roasters too: |

When I visited NYC in 2007, I got to see him (Giraldo) live in one of the local comedy clubs. That was pretty cool.

Re: The "What are you watching right now" Thread
I took my girl at the time out to see him in DC back in 08 or 09? He was hilarious, it really cemented my opinion of him as a roaster (I didn't get into the roasts until the Jeff Foxworthy one in 05/06?). That era with him, Ross, and Lampinelli in the lineup was fantastic. I still watch the new one every year but the jokes aren't as hard-hitting for some reason.

Re: The "What are you watching right now" Thread
I have a friend back in Cali I have known for 35 years, a little after football season started last year I stopped talking to him. He had become so obsessed with his hatred of Trump, his day (He got early medical retirement at 50) was watching negative Trump reporting and reading everything negative about him he could find. Then he was always calling me telling me about it, and any other Republican bashing he could come up with. No longer did he want to talk sports.

Watching the last part of the 3 part 2 hrs each "Chasing the Moon" series on PBS. I was 8 when we landed on the moon and always watched the news and read newspapers. The series started at the beginning of space exploration in the 50's and chronicled the race to space with the USSR.
It covered a lot of misinformation on the Apollo program and non disclosure of negative events. At the time it was reported the Apollo 1 testing fires caused instant death of the astronauts. They played the tapes in the documentary and you hear the astronauts yelling fire and they needed help. It was said they lived for about a minute. It also showed all the lunar module testing crashes that were unknown to the public at the time. They crashed and exploded a couple times but the pilots ejected out and were not injured. Showed a lot of JFK and some of his speeches. If he was in the 2020 Democratic primary he would probably get 5% of the vote if that. |
