How does this sound?
My running backs aren't great, but they get me through, week to week. I have:
Marion Barber DeShaun Foster Sammy Morris Thomas Jones My quarterbacks aren't as good as I thought: Chad Pennington Jay Cutler I have a chance to get Matt Shaub for either DeShaun Foster or Sammy Morris, there are decent waiver picks for the running back that I will lose. Would you guys follow through and make the trade? |

Re: How does this sound?
Schaub for Foster
Morris is probably your most valuable RB right now with Jones being slightly unhealthy and the Jets not running AT ALL. If this goes through, try to move Pennington ASAP before he's benched and upgrade another position or even RB. You can never have too much RB depth, it's the most injury-prone position. |

Re: How does this sound?
Is it possible you can get a better QB than Schaub?
He's pretty darn valuable to the Texans offense, but his touchdowns are going to be limited by questionable red zone playcalling.

Re: How does this sound?
Well, we have a "trade block" post up. Our league does count yardage as some kind of benefit but not as much as touchdowns obviously. The guy who wants the trade said he is willing to trade Shaub and Darrell Jackson, but I don't want Jackson because he isn't doing anything.
So Foster for Shaub is what you guys recommend? |

Re: How does this sound?
Ask around first, if you have nothing then do this trade.
Hopefully a running back that is getting carries can net more than a middle tier fantasy QB.

Re: How does this sound?
The problem is that even though DeShaun gets carries and takes most of the load, he has only one game over 100 yards this year and he usually doesen't get a touchdown. Shaub is looking like the better option, especially since I can get Leon Washington from waivers.

Re: How does this sound?
If your league counts return yards, then Leon's a great pickup. If not....boo!

Re: How does this sound?
Not return yards, but return for touchdowns are a lot of points if not that I could get Brian Leonard, Micheal Turner, Correll Buckhalter, or maybe even Ron Dayne.

Re: How does this sound?
All bye week fixes, just like Leon really. How many starting rb's and flex positions do you have?

Re: How does this sound?
Then, based on my 28 teams, and 7 years. Make the trade. You've got the depth at running back you need. If anything crazy happens during a bye week, you can slide in a wideout that gets some receptions.

Re: How does this sound?
Thanks, man that is exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to see if he will take Foster for Shaub.

Re: How does this sound?
I make either trade. Foster and Morris will be sharing carries in RBBC arrangements. Schaub will be a major upgrade over the two stiffs you have at QB.
