Next Generation Systems
Which one(s) will you be going for?
I've always been a loyal Nintendo fan, so I'll likely get their next-gen system, I heard it's going to be backwards compatible so that's always a good thing. I've always been a fan of their exclusive games, Zelda, Metroid, etc. I have the PS2 right now, but I'm thinking of jumping ship to the XBOX next time around. |

Re: Next Generation Systems
I like to jump on all the ships. I wish there could be a huge conglomerate of Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft to create ALL the games we love with Halo, Mario, Resident Evil and Zelda all on the same systems.

Re: Next Generation Systems
I feel pathetic enough owning 2 systems, and a GBA SP too. LOL

Re: Next Generation Systems
All I know is that new Zelda comes out in October. If you haven't seen screen shots and video of this one yet, then you are missing out!

Re: Next Generation Systems
I have Xbox and PS2, I co-own a Gamecube with my brother so he has it on visitation. I won't buy a GBA because there's just something about it that makes me feel like a 5-year old boy again when I hold one.
Then again, I feel that way when I play video games in general.

Re: Next Generation Systems
Honestly, the games I play the most are my emulations of NES, SNES on my computer. I have all NES games and most of the SNES games ever released.

Re: Next Generation Systems
I love those MAME emulators. You'll have to give me your IM name and send me a few...

Re: Next Generation Systems
I'm going with xenon or x-box 2 or whatever its called because as it is right now, I buy almost everything except my roleplaying games for my x-box. Of course thats mainly cuz the x-box doesn't have anything close to the rpgs ps2 has. I'll get a gamecube for zelda 2 but the stuff about touchscreen controllers for the Nintendo Revolution sounds like it'd be too much work involved in relaxing and playing a game. PS3s not coming out for a while and if they keep the processor they're talking about, the thing is gonna be huge and loud as hell because of all the cooling the system will need. But then again I'm also the type of game fanatic that if in a few monthes that perfect game is scheduled for one certain system than thats the one I'll more than likely get.

Re: Next Generation Systems
Fable was the most kick-ass RPG I've played to date. I can't wait til they come out with another one.

Re: Next Generation Systems
I thought fable was ok, but it was overhyped. the only parts I really liked about it was running all over the towns doing the flirts and farts and flippin the bird to people. Plus having wives in different towns was kinda kewl 2

Yeah, my guy was the biggest pimp of them all. I DID hate the fact that your guy was pale as shit. I liked when I got older I grew this dirty old man beard and mustache and tore up the tang at my ladie's places.
