Re: RB question
If you only want one more running back to start go with Marion Barber.

Re: RB question
Hey guys, I picked up Dominic Rhodes off of Free Agency in my league. Any one heard if he will be playing this week? I know that L. Jordan is still a little banged up.

Re: RB question
Thats what i was thinking, both Barber and Williams are #2 running backs, Rhodes could possibly be a #1 if he is in good shape, but he is also facing the SD def, and Barber is facing the NE def.

Re: RB question
He's playing. Ive been making moves to get him on the cheap before he starts. Oakland leads the league in rushing, and he is going to be coming in right away.

Rhodes should be healthier than any RB in the league right now, because he has not played or been dinged up. He could have a big day if Lamont Jordan does not play. Could be the Sleeper RB of the week! |

Re: RB question
My first concern was conditioning. so I did some research. and he's quoted as saying how every practice, they just made him run. How he thought how much running he did was part of the punishment.
I say he's healthy, he's got his legs, and he's anxious to hit somebody. But god knows it's all quesswork at best. |

Re: RB question
I'm telling you right now, barring some further injury to Lamont Jordon don't expect much from Rhodes. Maybe a 5 point game at the most.

Re: RB question
I'd go with Williams. He's a backup but Foster can get hurt taking a handoff. Barber is a backup but they face the first real team they've played this year and I think NE will shut Dallas down. Rhodes isn't worth much at all right now.

Re: RB question
I know he's not worth anything at this point. that's why he's affordable.

Re: RB question
I'm just saying that with a healthy Rhodes and a dinged up Jordan, that Rhodes could see 10-15 carries and I am not sure if your other options at RB will have that many opportunities this week. Not to mention that Rhodes should be more than "fired-up" this week. It is opening day for him!
