On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

1st of all, I fucking hate the Steelers and their obnoxious cuntbag fanbase.

2nd of all, we're so fucking close. But we simply make too many unforced mistakes that make winning way harder.

The difference is even with all those mistakes we still had a great chance to win. Before this year we lose this game by 20+.

So it's nice to be close, but fuck, it's heartbreaking to lose that way. We gotta clean it up a bit.

Also, Ertz, you are my loser of the week. Dropped a wide open pass and actually took a knee behind the sticks on 4th down. Like, if you can't run, can you please at least catch the ball and then also not go backwards?

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

We are 7-3. That’s a win. What concerns me is how we still can’t even come close to having home field advantage and the lack of focus today from so many players. They better get their asses in gear by Thursday.

Beating a dead horse but BSJ has been the biggest clown on this team for two years running. Ertz has been catching the ball and falling down for years. This is only new to us. We desperately need a dynamic TE for JD-5. Also our oline reared its ugly head today. Excited for the rest of the season and the future but JD clearly can’t do it all himself.

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

Just disappointed in missed opportunities in the second half.

The fucking trick play which destroyed our drive and took us out of field goal range killed me. Really needed those 3 points.

Gonna be honest JD5 looked avg today, he missed somethings. The biggest was McCaffery who was wide opened when they were backed up against the end zone.

Lattimore needs to get on the field cause I can’t take St Juste getting beat anymore.

Ertz is a big body, but my god if you can’t get any yac then run the fucking route a yard deeper.

Frustrated cause I felt we wasted plays in the second half and we should have won this game

JD5 has looked just okay the last few weeks which is still way better than what we've had. I am excited to see how he and the coaching staff handle these road bumps.

Lots of unforced errors the muffed punt is inexcusable. St Juste ugh. Newton has to be smarter.

JD didn’t even think about running today. He doesn’t need to lead the team in yards, and get pummeled, but I certainly don’t want him to be one dimensional.

I still say, this offense went the way it went becauae we have the Fecals on Thursday. I think we help the 3 Questionable out to save them for Thursday, and I bet our Offense kept it fairly conservative due to Thursday.

Is there any we can plug in for McCaffrey? Wasted roster spot.
BSJ is grabbing for his life out there which is a shame because he has the physical tools.

You want to cut a rookie WR, but don't even mention the veteran taking multiple cumshots off his face? C'mon man.

And that rookie wr was wide open for a rookie TD that JD missed him on. And please do not mention the man who had a bukakke party on his face because that mother fucker cost us the game and his name hurts my brain to even think about.

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

If you told me before the game that we will neutralize TJ Watt for the most part, and win the turnover battle, I would say we would definitely win. But today there were too many mistakes. You can't have that many mistakes and expect to beat a good team.

Also, still too many of the opponents fans in the stands. It will probably take a couple years of winning to fix that problem.

We're still on the right track, just need to clean some things up, and get Lattimore into the mix on defense. I still think this team has a great opportunity to make some noise in the playoffs. Long way to go still.

Bukakke party, I'm fucking dead. I needed this joke so hard, because this weekend has been shitty as fuck.

Re: On the Cusp - Post Game Thread

We are absolutely ahead of the curve. We already surpassed our expected win total (or will if we win 1 more game). And Vegas doesn't base that shit on feelings.

Losing tonight crushed me a bit because I hate the Steelers.

But we made 10-20 mistakes and were still right fucking there.

I think it's good that Harris/Peters/Quinn/Jayden have changed the narrative.

They'd all slap our faces if we talked about moral victories. And that's a good thing. We're here to win.

Other than the fact that they are both short and white there is no comparison. But come on Jamf of all the motherfuckers who id like to replace right now after their performance today (ertz, bsj, Newton, Dyami Brown, bukakke face, and BSJ AGAIN!) McCaffrey aint even on that list.
