Belmont Stakes
Anyone else kind of excited for this? I know some people dont like horseracing (especially with what happened with Eight Bells at the Derby), but this could be history... does anyone know exactly what time the race starts? I know coverage starts at 5..

Re: Belmont Stakes
It's around 3:15 to 3:30PM Pacific Time.
Big Brown is amazing but I would like to see him upset. I think only Casino Drive has a chance to upset him. I love horse racing. I can't wait for the Del Mar racing season to start again. |

Re: Belmont Stakes
I am. Big Brown will win.
His only competition is going to be a Japanese-owned horse named Casino Drive who has only ran 2 races (won both) and has been sitting out races to take on Big Brown at Bemont. I picked Brown to take the previous 2 races, even with starting in gate 20 where no horse had won for 80+ years. He looks unstoppable. I hope he wins the Triple Crown and retires happy and on top. |

Re: Belmont Stakes
Big Brown is fun horse to watch. I think they will let him run this weekend without pulling up as he did in the last race. Should be some history unless something goes wrong with the horse itself.

Re: Belmont Stakes
His only issue has been a crack in his one hoof, but that is very minor and they have made him new shoes that have made him comfortable. The hoof had not caused him any problems in the previous 2 races, so I don't expect it to this time either.
